Associate Director of Business Development

This person will work closely with the leadership of the Government Matters Practice Group to steer strategic client development and branding initiatives, refine and create infrastructure and systems to respond to requests and identify new opportunities, effectively integrate laterals, and help manage key aspects of communication and coordination across the practice.  An integral part of this role is the direct support of one of the firm’s marquee practices, the Special Matters & Government Investigations Team. In addition, this person will oversee seven business developers who support various teams. He or she will serve as a member of the Marketing Department’s business development leadership team that coordinates the development strategy across the firm’s three practice and industry groups. This role reports to a Director of Business Development.


Candidates are required to have a bachelor’s degree in Government/Political Science, Business, Marketing or other related field; JD or MBA is preferred. Candidates must have at least 10 years of experience in a business development or marketing role within a law firm or similar professional services environment. Prior management experience required.
