The Senior Business Development Manager will play a key role in expanding the Firm's presence in New York. This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to cultivate business with current and prospective clients and continue to elevate the profile of the New York office. In addition, this person will be a valued business development and marketing resource for the White Collar and Regulatory Enforcement practice.
The Senior Manager will operate as a strategic advisor to the Office Managing Partner. Develop strategies and approaches to facilitate collaborative business development, branding and targeted community outreach. Assist in developing and implementing practice group strategies to cultivate business with current and prospective clients. Work with firm lawyers to develop individual practice plans and support key initiatives. Work with practice leadership and other business development team members supporting the White Collar & Regulatory Enforcement practice to develop an annual business plan and budget. Work with the Senior Director and practice leadership to implement integration plans for lateral partners joining the New York office or the White Collar & Regulatory Enforcement practice.
College degree required and eight (8) or more years of marketing experience, preferably with a law firm or professional services firm. Strong business development credentials, including business planning, research, RFPs and pitches, and client development strategies.
