The Business Development Manager for the Silicon Valley office is responsible for supporting revenue growth in the market. He or she will leverage his or her business development, marketing expertise, and knowledge of professional services to deploy the full range of services required to support growth. Under very general supervision, the BD Manager will utilize his or her local market, practice, industry, client knowledge, and business acumen to engage, retain, and expand new and existing client relationships, as well as target and secure new clients and referral sources.
In close collaboration with practice office leadership, the BD Manager identifies goals and drives progress against key priorities and objectives, as well as maintaining best in class levels of quality and service in all core BD functions. He or she works with BD leadership on global strategic issues impacting the region and establishes and maintains strong relationships with partners to ensure a regular flow of communication regarding BD projects and alignment with business strategy. The successful BD Manager works as a super connector to the firm’s global platform, identifying and acting on inbound and outbound opportunities.
