A consulting firm is looking for an experienced and hungry Vice President of Businesss Development that will hit the ground running in expanding their current client portfolio. This firm applies expertise in economics, finance and statistics to solve challenging problems organizations face in the marketplace and the courtroom. They are a team of driven professionals who inspire each other in a collegial environment that promotes the growth of every team member. The VP will lead the establishment of the sales organization team providing direction, leadership and accountability for the overall performance of the firm's business development efforts. They will be responsible for spearheading revenue growth through relationship building, networking and identifying strategies to improve short, as well as long-term earnings. The VP will have a history of identifying business opportunities and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in a related field; Minimum 10+ years of experience selling high-end consulting services directly to law firms; MUST have a strong knowledge and experience selling services specifically into IP Litigation firms or Antitrust Litigation firms; Ability to distinguish between commodity work and value-based work; Demonstrable ability and proven track record in strategy-building and implementation; Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions; Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close; Excellent and proven track record of revenue and profit growth.
