The Business Development Manager will work closely with the IP, Life Sciences, and Technology Transactions practice groups to implement marketing and business development plans; research and identify opportunities for promoting, cross-selling, and deepening existing client relationships, expand the client base, and increase external and internal visibility. You are the point person to work with organizations and vendors to maximize sponsorship benefits and engagements. Prepare customized pitches/RFPs and other marketing collateral that win new business, plan events and marketing campaigns, work with cross-functional teams to help drive brand, social media and PR, and meticulously maintain updated marketing materials. Manage several blogs, working closely with editorial teams of lawyers. Ensure thorough execution of all deliverables, with data and content consistently accurate and well presented. Collaborate effectively with Marketing colleagues and attorneys throughout the firm’s global network, including in Europe and Asia. This position can be based in: Boston, Denver, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco or Silicon Valley.
Bachelor's degree and at least six (6) years of business development experience in a law firm. Knowledge of Intellectual Property, Patent and Litigation practices required.
