Senior Relativity Engineer

Sr. Relativity Engineer opportunity for a company that has pioneered eDiscovery Managed Services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Exercise independent discretion and judgment concerning matters of significance on various client matters

  • SQL DBA, Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) or significant relevant experience

  • Advanced Relativity SQL troubleshooting and maintenance skills

  • Interface with Relativity for upgrades and troubleshooting, as required

  • Plan and execute Relativity upgrades

  • Create, maintain, and manage upgrade documentation

  • Optimize agent and processing configuration to maximize performance

  • Monitor infrastructure to ensure optimal performance

  • Keep all software associated with Relativity up to date

  • Maintain Staging and Test environments

  • Ability to write scripts to create reports for users, metrics, and tracking

  • Able to customize Relativity workspaces thru widgets, dashboards, and applications

  • Troubleshoot and resolve Relativity end user issues

  • Consult with IT on Relativity functionality and infrastructure

  • Point of contact with IT department

  • Establish relationship with Relativity to understand current future features of Relativity

  • Work often requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position and will require irregular hours

SKILLS NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Advanced Relativity troubleshooting experience (5+ years)

  • Advanced SQL DBA skills, specific to Relativity environments

  • Relativity Infrastructure Certification

  • Preferred Relativity Master

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Strong project and time management skills

  • Ability to comprehend and interpret verbal and written concepts to facilitate the accurate completion of a task

  • Work requires the ability to make sound decisions in the absence of clear instructions

  • Ability to establish effective working relationships throughout the Firm and with outside contacts

  • Strong attention to detail, follow through, responsiveness and customer service skills

  • Strong command of the English language and legal and technical terminology

  • Excellent organization skills to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Operate standard office equipment such as computers, photocopiers and fax machines

  • Three years Relativity SQL DBA experience

  • A minimum of a four-year bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems
